How the tattoo generator works

1. Describe your idea
Write the subject and the details that matter to you: objects, mood, symbols or a short word to include. One main subject gives the clearest result.
2. Choose a style and a color mode
Pick a style such as Geometric, Watercolor or Old school, then choose full color or black and white. The style guides below explain each look.
3. Decide who can see it
Leave sharing off to keep the design unlisted, or tick the box to publish it with its prompt in the public gallery.
4. Generate and save
Your prompt is checked against the content policy first. The finished design is saved to your account, where you can download it or try again with a changed description.

Be specific about the subject and its pose: “a fox curled up asleep” works better than “fox”.
Mention composition when it matters, such as a round frame, a vertical layout for the forearm or a symmetrical design for the sternum.
Keep lettering short. AI images often misspell longer words, so plan for your tattoo artist to draw the final text.
Change one thing at a time between attempts, whether the style, the color mode or a single detail, so you can compare the results.
Leave out personal or confidential information: public designs show their prompt in the gallery.
